1. Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking online?

Because you get so much more than a booking. I take care of all the research, planning, and details, so you can skip the stress. Plus, I often have access to perks and insider knowledge that you won’t find on big booking sites.

2. What types of trips do you specialize in?

I love working with busy couples and families—whether it’s a romantic honeymoon, a family adventure, a cruise, or an all-inclusive getaway. Basically, if you want a trip that feels tailored to you, I’m your person.

3. Do you only book certain destinations?

Not at all! While I have favorite spots I travel to often, I plan trips all over the world. If you can dream it, I can plan it.

4. Do you charge a planning fee?

Yes. My planning fee allows me to dedicate time and expertise to designing a personalized trip for you. It covers research, itinerary design, booking, and ongoing support.

5. When do I pay the planning fee?

Right after our discovery call, before I start working on your custom itinerary. It officially kicks off the planning process.

6. What does your planning process look like?

It’s simple:

  1. Discovery call to talk about your travel dreams

  2. Planning fee agreement + payment

  3. I design a custom itinerary just for you

  4. We finalize bookings

  5. You get your detailed travel documents and support until you return home

7. Can you book flights as well as hotels and activities?

While I don’t book flights directly due to agency regulations, I’m happy to guide you through the best options, help you find great deals, and coordinate flight details to fit perfectly with your itinerary. I take care of all hotels, transfers, activities, and tours, so your trip is seamless from start to finish.

8. How are payments handled?

I’ll send you a secure credit card authorization form or payment link. If you prefer, you can always call me with your payment details and I can process while we are on the phone. Payments go directly to the suppliers (like the resort, cruise line, etc.), and you’ll always get a receipt and confirmation.

9. What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?

I’m just a phone call or email away to help resolve any issues. In addition, many of our trusted travel partners have in-destination experts available to assist you—especially if time differences make it tricky to reach me right away. You will always have every important contact number listed clearly in your itinerary so you can get help quickly in case of an emergency.

10. Do you help with travel insurance, passports, and visas?

Yes! I’ll recommend trusted travel insurance options and remind you about passports, visas, and entry requirements so you’re fully prepared.

11. How far in advance should I start planning my trip?

I recommend starting the planning process at least 3 to 6 months before your desired travel dates. This gives us plenty of time to find the best accommodations, activities, and secure spots on popular tours. For peak seasons or special events, even earlier planning is a good idea!

12. Can you help me with special requests or accommodations?

Yes! Whether you have dietary restrictions, mobility needs, or want to celebrate a special occasion, I’ll work with suppliers to make sure your trip fits your unique needs and preferences perfectly.
